A New Moon rose in Guam...

Being stationed in Guam away from family can be hard... it's a long way from family and has it's ups and downs. One of the ups to being where "America's day begins" is we get to see movies almost a full day before those in the states. Our group included a bunch of spouses from every walk of the military life. We have been planning every detail of November 20th for months. I bought tickets for the midnight showing on Sept 25th. Up until recently we planned on going to dinner and then standing in line for a good while in order to get the best seats. About a two weeks ago I found out the theater was going to be playing Twilight at 9 PM prior to the midnight showing. This was great!!! Not only could we watch both movies back to back but we'd also be able to save our seats from Twilight and not lose them when seeing New Moon.

A bunch of gals and I had tanks made for our special night. My friend KerryAnn and I even wore bite mark temp tattoos and glow in the dark vamp teeth. I know I know Twilight vamps don't have fangs, but it put us into a festive mood. It was a great night and one I'll never forget.

KerryAnn needed a bite of me...

Are you ready?

Now only 222 days until Eclipse.... CAN'T WAIT!!!

Only one more day...

Tomorrows the day I've been waiting nearly a year for... The Twilight Saga: New Moon opens. A bunch of gal pals and I will be going to dinner at 6:15-6:30 PM. Then we're going to see Twilight, the first movie based on the fabulous series, at 9 followed by the midnight showing of The Twilight Saga: New Moon. I'm ecstatic and so happy to have some wonderful fellow Twi-Addicts to share this with. Some of us even had matching shirts made. You'll see pics, plenty of them, from our fun night, I promise.

Well I'm off to bed.... going to read a bit then off to dream land I go. That's if I can get to sleep at all with this excitement running through my veins.

Nighty night blog world.

Saying a very hard good-bye

Liz recently got orders after a long waiting game. They were supposed to have orders in August... So when orders finally came about it was quick... too quick. The orders were officially available on October 25th. We were able to spend Halloween together which I was grateful for. Soon Paul was flying in after leaving the boat while it was out to sea. He flew in on Thursday, November 5th and the next day the movers came to pack their express shipment. Monday the movers came again to pack everything else. It took about a day and a half. It went far too quickly. They borrowed our blow up mattress Tuesday night and then stayed at the Westin Wednesday & Thursday night.

I can't believe how quickly it went. Since I moved to Guam Liz has always been my closest friend. Since Matt and I will be here another year it'll be different without her. Matt and Paul worked directly with each other and I know he'll be affected by their move too.

It's going to be a hard end of the year for me... hopefully it'll go quickly.
