I'm in the process of moving this blog to WordPress and with it have learned a ton.
The first thing I had to do was get a domain name and web hosting account set up. My wonderful Father-in-Law (FIL) does a ton of web design work and recommended Go Daddy and HostGator. So onto getting them set up, I went.
I've had some time to work with both now, and really like them. Customer service is great, which is important to me, and if I have any questions, which I've had many, they are very helpful. I'll share more about all of this in a new post.
